Kim Mitchell recorded the skeleton of the tracks for his greatest hits album in his home studio. He recorded the tracks from scratch, even the previously released 'hit' songs, and released them anew, rather than simply re-selling previous songs already recorded and compiled according to sales.

Kim then took his tracks to Skylab, a recording studio adjacent to the Q107 studios, where he recorded all the music for the greatest hits album, playing live and adding musicians as he wanted, using mostly original players, such as Terry Wilkins.

I am adding this note, because I was a recording assistant on the sessions for this album, which was mostly recorded by Bob Shindle, not by Metalworks, except where Kim operated the studio gear himself, or myself, assisting with tracking, putting up mics, tape op, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mavis Twice (talk • contribs) 02:45, 29 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
