Spartan (Hoplite) helmet
[edit]There is apparently no page for the Hoplite helmet -- that one with the ridiculous crest --which is used in movies, TV shows, cartoons, etc. to represent ancient Greek soldiers, whether they are Spartans or not. Apparently the crest had no function except to make the soldiers look taller. Wastrel Way (talk) 00:57, 26 August 2024 (UTC)Eric
