WikiProject Lists banner removed

[edit]

@LaundryPizza03: I removed the WikiProject Lists banner you added because it can only be used on articles that are assessed as stand-alone lists, or Stubs. This article is not now assessed as a list, as it has been assessed as "Start" class, so now falls outside the scope of WikiProject Lists. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 12:40, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

More context needed

[edit]

This article needs to provide more context about Greece and and its war of independence from the Ottoman Empire. Also, describing what appears to be ethnic cleansing as war crimes appears to be putting a modern revisionist "spin" on military practices that happened prior to international conventions that defined what war crimes were. This is like putting the cart before the horse. What were the laws of war that prevailed at the time and what were the crimes that were committed, and how were the perpetrators dealt with? - Cameron Dewe (talk) 13:19, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, by this logic, Hamidian massacres can not be considered a war crime or crime against humanity, right? 188.119.21.29 (talk) 14:26, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
