Unproven allegations

[edit]

I've removed the "Sexual harassment allegations" section from this article. The section is based on well-sourced reports of unproven allegations against Kadel. While the sources are valid, the allegations remain unproven (i.e. no charges have been file; no court decisions have been reached). Per WP:BLP, Wikipedia needs to take more care than many other media outlets in reporting such unproven allegations. Until the allegations are proven, I believe it is in keeping with Wikipedia policy to not report them. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:04, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted my own edit having re-read WP:BLP. Reliably reported allegations, especially where the allegations have had significant impact on the subject's career, should be reported, as well as any reports of the subject's own denial of the allegations. Agreed. I'm not sure that Kadel is notable enough to justify an article, but if he is, then this material is certainly appropriate, since it represents the bulk of what he's notable for, based on a look at his news mentions. BubbaJoe123456 (talk) 00:14, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
