tagging for deletion

I removed the prod for a couple reasons. One, it was used to replace an invalid CSD A7 tag. Turning down a wrongly tagged speedy and then automatically prod'ing it seems silly. If the admin had then examined the article, s/he would have noted this is a professor at a prominent research university, which is a sign that a prod is just a waste of time. Second, his first hit on Google scholar is a paper on D-branes with over 1200 citations. So I think it's fair to say he will satisfy any of the usual notability guidelines. --C S (talk) 03:36, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
