Why did he leave "Barney Miller"?[edit]

If my memory serves me correctly, Gregory Sierra left "Sanford and Son" when he got the role of Chano on "Barney Miller." I never did know why he left "Barney Miller." As I recall, he was the first cast member to leave the show. Anybody know why?24.56.113.189 (talk) 15:31, 16 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why exactly he left Barney Miller, but I do remember his last episode on there. His character had killed a couple of armed bank robbers and he felt terrible about it. He was one of my favorite characters on there. Lately I've been watching him alot on the reruns of Sandford and Son. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.208.93.116 (talk) 00:58, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That wasn't his last episode. That episode was season 1 number 13 and he was still a regular after that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.150.209.237 (talk) 05:28, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actual Birth Year[edit]

A majority of sources of even online "Fandom"s have his year of birth listed as 1941 and not 1937. In this case, 1941 WINS BIG! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.93.14.175 (talk) 00:38, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
