What is the unusual name from? Didn't the whaling ships stay nearer the coast? Rmhermen 20:16, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is any connection with whaling. There is no way that seaworthy vessels can go here; I think "quay" is the wrong translation for "kade" here. "Groenland" doesn't refer to Greenland either. Eugene van der Pijll 22:27, 21 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
