Illogical nomenclature

I suggest that both this article and the net margin article would benefit from work to more clearly explain the nomenclature. The two articles fail to distinguish between gross and net margin, and seem to imply that they are considered to be the same in the business context. This is inconsistent with the standard meanings of the words. Of course, if standard business nomenclature indeed has this unfortunate feature, then WP can do nothing except explain that it is indeed in conflict with standard usage outside of the business context, as in "gross weight" of some material together with its container, and "net weight" of only the material. Also, the articles and the examples given fail to say explicitly whether costs of labour and capital are included in the costs considered. Layzeeboi (talk) 07:06, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
