Name[edit]
Boldly restored lead to match the name in the title, but would comment, the group itself does use "Canal+ Group" in English. So whether there's been a name change needs to be considered, or if the existing name is still more common.
Open to the lead being "Canal+ Group, more commonly known as Groupe Canal+," until a RM is done if there's a new common name. DankJae 01:12, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
Discussion - merge Canal+ (French TV provider) into this one?[edit]
I must say that I'm pretty confused about the structure of the whole company, even after putting considerable effort into cleaning up and adding to the histories of the group and channel articles. I am really not clear as to whether there is still a separate entity relating to Canal+ (French TV provider), which is hardly cited at all. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 09:35, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- There definitely used to be a separate legal entity for Canal+ (French TV provider), it was CanalSatellite SA, I’m unsure if this entity still exists though. Professional Adriazeri (talk) 10:19, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
