Why the section on "Pycnodonte"?[edit]

The Pycnodonte paragraph and two images do not appear to belong in a Gryphaea article. Should I remove them? Wilson44691 (talk) 16:23, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

After it was deleted, I salvaged the text and moved it to Pycnodonte newberryi which previously was a redirect only. Ecphora (talk) 21:55, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea. Wilson44691 (talk) 22:12, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Big Horn link is broken, Red Gulch is not mentioned.[edit]

The Big Horn Canyon link is broken.

Also, one abundant source in North America is Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite, which is in the Bighorn area. The overburden removed to get at the tracks has perhaps a hundred Gryphaea nebrascensis shells per shovelfull of dirt; it's easy to collect as many as you want. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Howard Landman (talkcontribs) 14:03, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
