Merge of both Guardians[edit]

I recently took note that Guardians of the Galaxy was split into both Guardians of the Galaxy (original) and Guardians of the Galaxy (modern). It seems that neither is wholly different or separated from each other, evidenced by the mutual member rosters , similar cosmic theme, and intertwined fictional histories. The differences between the two teams as far as editorial direction seems to be on par with any other creative shifts of long lived characters. Neither Drax, Nova, nor Warlock have seen new pages started for them and these characters have been equally editted in the context of Annihilation. Similarly, this can't be a question of size as the combined pages would still only be 17kb. Clarification between teams could be done through editting each page in both publication and fictional history. -Sharp962 (talk) 19:33, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep it was split after some discussion and the conclusion that they are distinct teams and I've not changed my opinion. (Emperor (talk) 01:40, 26 March 2009 (UTC))[reply]
  • Keep the split makes sense, they are two distinct teams. --Xero (talk) 01:25, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I split them for the reasons mentioned above. I support this, if for nothing else than the laymen who wish to get across the topic. Asgardian (talk) 11:20, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be concensus here to keep pages, discussion closed with a consensus to keep. -Sharp962 (talk) 03:26, 6 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]
