Help at Caltech[edit]

It would seem like someone at Caltech would have great access to primary sources for this topic. Any volunteers? Sdsds 18:31, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Source for noteworthy characteristic[edit]

The most noteworthy characteristic of GALCIT was that it was the first academic institution (in the U.S., at least, possibly in the world) to do research on rockets. Other research done at that time (e.g. Goddard, or NACA) wasn't being done in association with a research university. Is there some source to cite that says this about GALCIT? Found one, and incorporated it into the lead (Sdsds - Talk) 08:02, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Both the Jack Parsons biographies have a lot in them on his time at GALCIT too. You can access Strange Angel at Google Books [1] and you can search inside both of them at Amazon.com. That should open up most of the specific content you might be looking for but feel free to give me a nudge if there is anything specific you want tracking down as I have both books.
