Entry on Guido H. Marx (1871-1949)[edit]

While I believe the entry on Guido Marx to be largely accurate, I am not aware that Mr. Marx (who was my maternal grandfather) was actually invited by Leon Ardzrooni to be the (administrative) Head of the New School. In 1920 Marx did spend about 6 months at the New School, where it was evidently hoped by Ardzrooni and others that he would somehow lead a group of engineers to increase their socio-political influence. As far as I can tell Daniel Bell's 1963 article in the American Scholar provides an accurate description of what happened. Marx's unpublished memoir/autobiography is held by the Stanford University Library along with much of his correspondence, much of which the library has cataloged. 108.46.145.172 (talk) 16:11, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
