Requested Move

[edit]

I would like to move this article to Guillermo Garcia Lopez. This is the common, conventional name for a subject in English. If this article title makes a statement of fact, it is currently "By English convention, the name of this person is Novak Đoković". This statement of fact is verifiably false: the overwhelming majority of citations from all English language sources use "Guillermo Garcia Lopez". For example look at yahoo sport site, Australian open site, sportsline.com, US open site, www.tennis.com... Also look on Novak Djokovic tallk page. There are argumensts for move. I think that we should have same standards for all articles. --Jovanvb (talk) 16:15, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Novak has shown that he goes by Djokovic in English. That's how he spells it. You'd have to show that Garcia Lopez spells it that way in English also. Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:43, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
