Technical name[edit]

Doesn't this have a more technical name than the colloquial-sounding Gullfisk? Cf. T1000, SL95 etc. Geschichte (talk) 22:08, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sort of. The numbering scheme that SL95 and the like belong to, was introduced during the 1980s or 1990s to keep track of all the variations of Høka trams that had been bought used from Sweden. The Gullfisk never received a numbering in that series, because prior to that, Oslo Sporveier had never introduced any class namings. Bærumsbanen on the other hand (who eventually took over the Gullfisk (or should that be Gullfiskes)) gave them the class name B and E.
