untitled[edit]

I inserted the NPOV tab. The article makes no sense. The particular conflict between the Mughals led by Ram Singh and Ahoms led by Lachit Barphukan and Atan Burhagogain is well documented. The only peace treaty came after Ram Singh was soundly defeated at the battle of Xoraighat, not because of some magic mumbo-jumbo as the article claims. Nowhere in recorded human history any battle have been fought and won with magic. Thats just fantasy. This article is just garbage. Perhaps Guru Tegh Bahadur deserves better. misleading contents[edit]

The information provided in the history section of this wiki article is incorrect and misleading and more tend to humiliate the assamese warriors of the battle of saraighat. there was no magic part associated with this battle as described in History but this battle is a classic example of strategic and psychological warfare of Ahom Era. Raja Ram Singh and his Army was completely defeated by comparatively less number of Ahom army and there is no mention in the historical texts of Guru Tag bahadur playing middle man in this war. This article is a biased one and corrupted version of history. refer "A History of Assam" by E.A. Gait and "Lachit Borphukan" by Surya Kumar Bhuyan(1971). Also there is detailed description of this war in this wiki article [[1]]--Anupom sarmah (talk) 17:36, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
