P.24 fighters - Polish armed forces never used them.

"He achieved his first aerial victory on the first day of World War II, 1 September 1939, during the Invasion of Poland. His victim, a Polish P.24 fighter, was shot down near Warsaw." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.219.68.219 (talk) 22:30, 6 February 2013 (UTC)

Charlie_Brown_and_Franz_Stigler_incident

Maybe ther eshould be a link to the article "Charlie_Brown_and_Franz_Stigler_incident"(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Brown_and_Franz_Stigler_incident) because as a commanding officer of Fanz Stigler, he had a direct influence to the pilots of his unit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.6.154.161 (talk) 08:16, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

Shot down

I think Rodel was shot down four or five times. I need a citation for this. Misterbee1966? Dapi89 (talk) 18:13, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Copyvio problems are solved by removing the article history, which contain the copyvio. Please do not remove the tag until the problem is resolved by an admin. K.e.coffman (talk) 17:48, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
Sorry, no. Material gone, problem solved. Stop using this an excuse to keep another of these spurious tags on German articles. Dapi89 (talk) 18:01, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
The material can still be seen in the article history and is copyvio. The tag will be removed once an admin takes care of the problem; usually takes a couple of days. Please consider self-reverting. K.e.coffman (talk) 18:16, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
@Dapi89: Please advise. You are engaged in edit-warring over a minor procedural point. As I've mentioned, the tag will be removed once the copyvio is taken care of. K.e.coffman (talk) 18:47, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
That doesn't make sense.
A) I am not edit warring. B) the copyvio has been "taken care of". It isn't there anymore. C) Who cares about the article history? And what is to prevent others thinking that vio extends to information that has not been taken form the aforementioned website? Dapi89 (talk) 19:02, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

Please see the tag, it lists the revisions that should be deleted.

{{copyvio-revdel |url = https://web.archive.org/web/20070823101153/http://www.luftwaffe.cz/rodel.html |start = 154467272 |end = 764672684 }} The end one is the important one, which is the version as of Dec 2016. All subsequent versions (including from today) will be kept in the article history. Please consider self reverting. K.e.coffman (talk) 19:17, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

@Dapi89: Please advise. K.e.coffman (talk) 21:43, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
 Done I've deleted the revisions in the article history that had the copyright infringing content. As far as I can tell, the violation only extended to content that was taken from the aforementioned website. If there was any useful non-infringing content in the page history that may have gotten deleted, feel free to let me know and I will be happy to provide copies of it here.
