Chronology conflict[edit]

Article states construction occurred between 1856 and 1865, but then later states that it was only "subsequent" to her 1871 marriage that La Paiva was able to build the house. This should be cleared up. 70.182.195.99 (talk) 16:54, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see a reference for any of those statements in the article, but the dates of construction can more-or-less be confirmed on a web page belonging to the Musée d'Orsay ([1]), so I'll edit the article accordingly. The architect, Pierre Manguin (1815-1869) was dead by 1871, so he can't have built the mansion after that date. - Nunh-huh 01:52, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
According to The Telegraph, the funds for the construction of l'Hôtel came from La Païva's second husband, the Marquis de la Païva, not from her third, Graf von Donnersmarck. [2]. So I suspect someone just mistook which husband was being spoken of in whatever source they were using. - Nunh-huh 02:18, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think that sorts it out. Thanks for noticing and pointing out the problem. - Nunh-huh 02:27, 4 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
