I have now twice reverted a change to this article where the image of the building facade has been replaced with an image of the building kitchen. The kitchen could be any kitchen in the world, and does nothing to improve anyone's understanding of this building, while the facade clearly illustrates the architecture of the building. Please discuss this image change here before restoring the kitchen image. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:06, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Feliz Nuevo (talk · contribs) has once again replace the exterior image with the kitchen image, with the edit summary:
In fact, a bad picture! @WikiDan61 the interior and the castle park is representative for Hünegg Castel!
I ask again, in what way is the kitchen image (which really could be any kitchen in any house in the world) a superior representation of this structure than the exterior image that was replaced. And instead of just saying, "It's better because I say it's better," let's try discussing this issue with regard to the actual merits of the images to properly illustrate the subject. Remember, Wikipedia's manual of style requiests that images be pertinent. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:22, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have restored the original image, given the lack of participation of any other editors, despite invitations to do so. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:38, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@WikiDan61, excuse my English school :-) . Look again the following Youtube movie: Schloss Hünegg - Jugendstil am Thunersee (Switzerland / der Schweiz). Thank you very much!--Schönegg (talk) 11:30, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's a lovely video. I don't see your point. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:54, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Very good! The film mainly shows the inside of the castle. t 00 min 00 sec. to 00 min 04 sec: Schloss Hünegg Interieur Museum 19. Jahrhundert... For this, the castle is also known. Some images on Wikipedia are from me. I am going to upload some more pictures. But that takes time, because I have other things to do (family, children, work, travel, hobby...). We will find a solution for taking good pictures.--Schönegg (talk) 20:06, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that the image of the kitchen is verifiably from the castle is not the point. The image does not suitably illustrate the article. Whereas we can verify that the image is of the castle's kitchen, there is nothing especially unique about the kitchen. There is something unique and identifiable about the castle's exterior, and that image better illustrates the article as a whole. Were we to write an article about the castle's kitchen (should that kitchen be somehow unique enough to merit such an article), then the image of the kitchen would be good for that article. But that's not what the article is about, so that shouldn't be the image to illustrate. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:48, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personally I find the exterior image to do a much better job of showing me the castle. The interior picture is quite nice, but it doesn't show me anything unique about the structure. If the article discussed the interior or gave details, then I would love to see that picture in that section. However without details about the design, art work, architecture, etc. the kitchen picture is just a nice picture of a kitchen.Tobyc75 (talk) 04:31, 22 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Paint, that edit gives undue weight to the exhibition. The exhibition was a one-week event that occurred twice, but the text devoted to it exceeds the text for the rest of the article. A much briefer description is called for. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:10, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, also the text needs to be copy edited when it is cut down. Tobyc75 (talk) 08:12, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
