Can this page be recognised as more important please? The hands of this man are the reason we still have carved houses in New Zealand, his work from the 1930s and the work of his students from the 1960s shaped the face of this country. Kaahukura (talk) 12:39, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm happy to increase the importance to 'mid' level for Wikiproject New Zealand, and it's already 'high' for the Māori task force. I also increased the importance of Whakairo and updated its quality assessment.-gadfium 19:38, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
