panopticon prisons

[edit]

"Beechworth Prison is architecturally significant as an outstanding example of a panopticon prison, of which nine erected in Victoria, and as one of only two which continue to operate as prisons."

Which are the two that continue to operate as prisons? If this is correct, it would be worthwhile to include the information. Johnatyandoit (talk) 12:26, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Johnatyandoit: I don't know, but the entire article was copy/pasted from the source, which went dead in 2017 and therefore may not be accurate anymore. I've just reworded and removed content that was copy/pasted as per Wikipedia:Copyright violations. Damien Linnane (talk) 02:01, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
