Fate of HNLMS De Ruyter (1853)[edit]

What was the fate of the ship? There is a section on it, but I can't figure out what actually happened from the article --Dan18769 (talk) 17:37, 9 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

She was rebuilt as a casemate ironclad, comparable to USS Merrimack (1855) becoming CSS Virginia. Grieg2 (talk) 11:27, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
