Re-wrote & re-formatted the article -- Adeptitus 23:52, 11 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added a "citation required" tag for two reasons:

  • This opinion does need a citation.
  • The existence of a long range SAM does not invalidate the need for a shorter one, especially the HQ-9, which is supposedly cursed with a ridiculously high min alt (for a modern long range SAM) of 500m, which would render it rather useless against seaskimmers, and would explain why they are still buying Russian SAMs. Kazuaki Shimazaki 00:11, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
