Name (Osamu vs Sojō)
[edit]The Japanese wiki article refers to the late Haguroyama by his given name at birth, Osamu (Haguroyama Osamu). Not sure if the English article's name should be changed to reflect this... though I bet there may be a good reason already why Sojō is used here instead. JRHorse (talk) 23:14, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
- It's to match Sumo Reference, which goes with the shikona at the time of his retirement. He changed his shikona several times, both the family name and the given name, but I don't think he was ever actually known as Haguroyama Osamu at any point. Incidentally the article was at Osamu Annen for a while, because I couldn't decide which shikona to go with. Pawnkingthree (talk) 23:54, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
