Source
[edit]"At this time he was a leading exponent of the tactical deployment of the so- called Rammjäger Sonderkommando Elbe (German: ram fighters, task force Elbe), sent into action in April 1945. Pilot volunteers, often aged 18 to 20, were to be trained to be simply competent enough to control specially lightened and unarmoured Bf 109 fighters and charged with downing Allied bombers by deliberately ramming the tail or control surfaces with the propellers of their aircraft, and thereafter (hopefully) bailing out. Hermann's intention was to gather a large number of these fighters for a one-off attack on the USAAF bomber streams, hopefully causing enough losses to curtail the bombing offensive for a few months. Fuel shortages prevented employment of the large numbers necessary, although from one mission of this type of the 138 planes thus committed only 50 came back[chronology source needed]."

Death
[edit]The reference for his death is not considered a reliable source by German sysops. I therefore removed the death dates, waiting for more reliable sources. Maasje 14:04, 7 November 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maasje (talk • contribs)
- Who cares what those German Sysops say. The German Wikipedia is the most censored and biased Wiki! It is just a propaganda source for the American puppet government of FRG. However I added another source for the date of the colonel's death. --94.182.97.122 (talk) 18:29, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- In German Wikipedia you would be permanently banned for posting this link to a NEO NAZI website! --77.20.92.48 (talk) 20:09, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
- NPD is a legal party in the so-called Federal Republic of Germany. And yes I know that German Wikipedia's sysops are a bunch of retarded Communists or low life puppets of Americans who do whatever they can to censor the reality. Thanks for mentioning it again. :-) --212.95.138.221 (talk) 21:30, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- There are still NO reliable sources confirming his death. (I removed a death date which Laibwacher forgot to remove). I suggest we wait for reliable sources. Maasje (talk) 14:19, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
- The quotation German Wikipedia's sysops are a bunch of retarded Communists or low life puppets of Americans says enough about your "neutral" point of view. 88.159.13.168 (talk) 16:41, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
- yeah and adding a Zionist weblog as a reliable source shows your NPOV so good!--94.182.97.122 (talk) 19:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

The ever lasting nazi!
[edit]"Among others, he defended Otto Ernst Remer, David Irving, and Fred A. Leuchter." No comment! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.12.49.128 (talk) 21:20, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
Putin's Dad
[edit]Any truth to the rumor that he is Putin's dad? He was in Russia when Putin was a born and the resemblance is amazing. 155.213.224.59 (talk) 18:50, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
