Untitled[edit]

I've created a separate page for the Hamilton urban area. Unlike Auckland and Wellington, when people refer to Hamilton, it is generally referring to Hamilton City. I set up this page in a similar manner to the Napier-Hastings Urban Area page. Like Napier/Hastings, Hamilton has an urban area separated by rural land that share significant economic and social links. Due to Hamilton City boundaries not changing for many years, there are many people in the outlying semi-rural suburbs that refer to themselves as Hamiltonians but are not within Hamilton City itself.

This can also clarify that the current Hamilton, New Zealand page is referring to Hamilton City.
