Microtor vs microrotor

Actually, the correct name used by Buren/Hamilton was microtor, not microrotor. Any Hamilton or Buren collector knows it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.25.43.172 (talk) 05:54, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Good catch, and yes we should fix this. I can't do it right now because the sources are a bit confusing. It sounds like the Buren version was called "Minirotor" and the Universal Genève version was "Microtor", but both of them talk about licensing to Hamilton. And what does this mean: "Universal Genève masterminded, parallel to the Buren Watch Company, a radically new automatic winding system: the Microtor"? I'm not sure how to sort this out.
