Gap Year confusion

[edit]

I've noticed that details for Episodes 9 and 10 of the first season are missing on the page, as the contributor who described the past 8 episodes got lazy so we don't know who was interviewed in lost footage in those episodes. Thankfully, if anyone owns the DVD they should add what's on it and leave the Interviews section with an "TBA". In the introduction to the DVD version [before a single instance of the theme song], Hamish and Andy state they excluded the interviews cause it was against the interviewees' wishes if they released the original TV format version with such interviews.

To add more confusion, there's a 6-episode edited version available on Stan (in Australia) and YouTube (outside of Australia), known as the "Best-Of" version. This version trims the fat and keeps the majority of the non-interview contest (the final episode is mostly unaffected, although with the addition of some recurring segment "conclusions"), but as an 6-episode format some Safari segments have to be removed and only 4 of the 100 Second New York Lessond segments being shown. --TapLover (talk) 20:22, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
