WRONG TITLE[edit]

Each and every available archaeology source calls the site Hammam as-Sarah (variations: al-, Sarakh, -Sarkh), never "Qasr" etc. Either there is some GOOD reason for it (discovery of an even closer qasr other than Hallabat; good luck with finding one), or else this looks like some clueless official's attempt to, in his opinion, "upgrade" a baths-cum-audience hall complex to a qasr. So please, no "qasr", and the Arabic article, according to current rules of the Archaeology Department and not only, is "as-", small & hyphened. So Hammam as-Sarah. BTW, guide books follow the lead and name it Hammam as-Sarah, so "Qasr Hammam As Sarah" only gets everybody confused - or amused. Arminden (talk) 23:50, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Better, but still out of step with all the other desert castle names on WP: it should read Hammam as-Sarah, with the article adapted to the initial of the next word, as done everywhere else, so: "as-". Never give up! Arminden (talk) 23:34, 13 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Years passing, nobody bothers to comment - I'm moving it. Arminden (talk) 16:56, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merger with Qasr al-Hallabat[edit]

I have initiated a discussion (or at least I hope I have) here, at the Qasr al-Hallabat talk-page. Please share your thoughts there. Arminden (talk) 16:52, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
