What was H&H?

The article was proposed for deletion with the following reason: "The corresponding article on the Norwegian Wikipedia was deleted in 2008 for the reason that "this municipality never existed" (see link here: https://no.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hammer_og_Hosanger&action=edit&redlink=1). Both Hosanger and Hammer were separate municipalities starting in 1838 (see link here and here) when municipalities were first established in Norway."

The otherwise authoritative Dag Juvkam report lists Hammer og Hosanger. This on the other hand, http://www.rhd.uit.no/dok/nos12.html makes it crystal clear that Hammer and Hosanger were different municipalities from the onset. But was Hammer og Hosanger another kind of entity? I'd like to review the nb.no/search results under journals before deleting. Geschichte (talk) 19:41, 22 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
