Birthplace

[edit]

@Andrzei111: There seems to be some confusion about Lamdan's birthplace, specifically whether it was in Serbia or Bessarabia. Presumably the confusion comes because "In Serbia" and "Bessarabia" can be written the same way in Hebrew. The Russian Wikipedia actually has the name of the town she was born in, which is indeed in Bessarabia (ro:Șirăuții de Sus, Hotin is the only article on it in the Latin alphabet, but appears to match the Hebrew name of her birthplace which is listed on the Hebrew Knesset website (שירוביץ)). This is confirmed in this article o on the Museum of the Jewish People website. I will now add it to the article. Number 57 00:56, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
