Errors in this article[edit]

The article read that Hapoel Tel Aviv was establisehd in 1910 by "the socialist organization". Of course, many socialist organizations exist so "the socialist organization" is misleading. The Hapoel organization is (or at least was until recently) affiliated with the Histadruth Israeli general trade union. The Histadruth did not exist in 1910, but according to the Hebrew article Hapoel Tel Aviv was indeed established by the Histadruth in 1923... gidonb 20:50, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Player names[edit]

There are a few ways to transliterate hebrew names to latin letters. I think it is best to use an official list for deciding how to spell players' names. There is such list at http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/club=59869/competition=14/index.html. SRG275 10:19, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Hapoel Tel-Aviv.png[edit]

Image:Hapoel Tel-Aviv.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

History (Independance ou Creation ?)[edit]

I changed Independance term by Creation because Israel state does not exist before 1948, it was created. Greetings. --Faycal.09 (talk) 10:30, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An image used in this article, File:Kashtan.jpg, has been nominated for deletion at Wikimedia Commons in the following category: Deletion requests October 2011
What should I do?

Don't panic; a discussion will now take place over on Commons about whether to remove the file. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion, although please review Commons guidelines before doing so.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
