Copyright vio?[edit]

I'm worried about the word "adapted" in front of the "Medusa" by Mike Boyce, does this indicate that parts of this text have been copied from that source?Koonan the almost civilised 02:13, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure now that there has been extensive copyright vio in this article, the Combinedops site has a section the exact clone of the opening section of this one. I'm pretty sure both this article and combinedops copied from Mike Boyce's book, though I don't have a copy of the book to verify this. What remains to be done now is to rewrite this article, to remove any copyright vio. Koonan the almost civilised 07:38, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Harbour Defence Motor LaunchHarbour defence motor launch – We don't capitalise acronyms when written in full (see WP:CAPSACRS) and we don't capitalise the article names of types of ship (eg destroyer escort, aircraft carrier, river gunboat, torpedo boat, torpedo boat destroyer, and so on). The general guidance at Wikipedia is "Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization". I have also proposed this change at Motor Torpedo Boat, Motor Launch, Steam Gun Boat and Coastal Motor Boat.
