Hartford Steam Boiler is a well known property insurance company with comparable notability and historical significance to FM Global.--Nowa (talk) 18:33, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Google news coverage goes back to the mid 1800's [1]. More recently, HSB is notable as a subsidiary of AIG whose fate is uncertain [2]--Nowa (talk) 18:39, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have not followed the guidelines of Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) and the general Wikipedia:Notability guidelines. Just prove that this company is notable enough to be included in wikipedia by also citing (Wikipedia:Citing sources) independent (Wikipedia:Verifiability) and reliable sources (Wikipedia:Reliable sources) JoJan (talk) 19:31, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the guidance. HSB is covered in Hoovers and thus meets the criteria for notability of a commercial enterprise.--Nowa (talk) 20:23, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
