Explanation[edit]

Currently in the explanation section it says "two wear black hats and other two wear white" but then provides two visual examples that don't seem to line up with that (one is 3 W and 1 B, the other is as expected). Likewise in the example below that with six prisoners it says three wear black hats and other three wear white but then shows three examples, one of which has 6 B's and only 1 W, and another with 4 B's and 1 W.

I don't claim to understand this puzzle at a mathematical level, but this seems to make no sense to me. Looking back in the history it was not always this way, but has been for some time. Can anyone explain why it is in its current form? If not, I'll change it to something that seems to make sense. Rotundo (talk) 14:58, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
