Marx and Engels
[edit]Did Marx and Engels used to live here? I think Marx lived in moved to No 41 (4) Maitland Park Road in 1875 and prior to that from 1856, he lived at No 9 (now No 46) Grafton Terrace (5). Is this in Haverstock? But Engels lived in 122 Regent’s Park Road nearby. Should Marx be mentioned as a notable former resident? Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 15:13, 11 August 2011 (UTC))
- Yes I think this should be mentioned, although we would need reliable sources to back that up. All I've got is an Alistair Horne quote, locating Marx "on Haverstock Hill" around 1871, but it's just a small side-note and no more specific. I'm wondering if there wouldn't be some blue plaques about that. --BjKa (talk) 00:05, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
