very happy to improve the page

[edit]

i am very happy to improve the page but am quite out of depth as to what you want. what category am i allowed to put it in eg STUDIO POTTERIES? Having agreed a category, where can i in-put it?and how do obtain LINKS?http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:The_Haworth_Pottery_(1971-88)_West_Yorkshire&action=edit&redlink=1#http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:The_Haworth_Pottery_(1971-88)_West_Yorkshire&action=edit&redlink=1# — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tous les deux DUO 54 (talkcontribs) Tous les deux DUO 54 (talkcontribs) has made few or no other edits outside this topic.

You can place the article in a category by adding [[Category:<category name>]], replacing <category name> with the appropriate category, at the bottom of the article. You should try to be specific rather than general with the category. as they are like a tree and the lower the level the better. So you would go with Category:English potters rather than Category:Potters as Category:English potters is already a sub-category of Category:Potters. Keith D (talk) 17:23, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rename

[edit]

May be the article should just be called The Haworth Pottery or even Haworth Pottery as it does not appear to need the qualification, unless there were more than one in Haworth. The page can be moved if required. Keith D (talk) 17:27, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The original editor seems confused as to whether this is about a pottery or a biography. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.181.170 (talk) 15:11, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Or even Anne Shaw (potter)? --Orange Mike | Talk 16:24, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see, for the time being I've moved it to the more encyclopedic Haworth Pottery for now. --Orange Mike | Talk 21:29, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
