The first paragraph of the article is talking about how big the Hayman Fire was, giving landmarks, but nowhere in the introductory paragraph does it mention the acreage that burned. I would think that's kinda important when you're talking about how large the fire was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.16.33.230 (talk) 19:43, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest that the article on Terry Barton be merged with this one and become a section of this article. Agree/Disagree? Tweesdad 02:43, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

I think that a separate article is warranted. The fire article should be expanded especially since there were deaths. She should be separate from that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gschoep (talkcontribs) 23:31, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response. Well, since she CAUSED the fire and admitted doing so, and she has no other claim to notability, I think that Terry Barton SHOULD be included as a section in this article, and that a separate article about her is not warranted. I'd like others to weigh in on this issue, though. Tweesdad —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tweesdad (talkcontribs) 08:27, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MUCH BETTER! Great job on the merger. Tweesdad —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tweesdad (talkcontribs) 00:30, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Can anyone explain why it is called the "Hayman Fire"? There is nothing in the article to suggest how it got the name. Skinsmoke (talk) 16:37, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
