WAS an entertainment retail chain?

[edit]

The articles opening sentence contradicts itself by saying later in the opening paragraph that there is still a Head store in Belfast. On top of this there is still a Head Entertainment store trading in the former premises of Zavvi in the Mall Galleries Bristol. I think the article needs some updating. Was bugging me so I did some quick research, there is definately still a store trading in Bristol City Centre as shown here for proof. I'm unsure on any other trading locations. It seems possible that the shop trading under the name today may not be the same one originally mentioned in this article although it uses the same brand. I found slightly more info on a forum post here. Unfortunately I cant find any second hand sources to explain what the current company is and how it came out of the former Zavvi which makes editing this article particularly difficult. The existing MCV article in this page referencing the closing down of 4 stores is the last article on a store of that name I can find from them. Perhaps somebody with more specialist knowledge of the sector or associated sources can update the article. Unessential (talk) 18:08, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Staff transfer disputes and employment tribunal

[edit]

I've been bold and removed the massive section on the staff transfers situation (well written as it is), as I really don't think it is appropriate to Wikipedia. I don't think it is useful or notable information to anyone not involved in the dispute. At a guess it seems to be based on insider information that could not be reasonably referenced with publicly accessible sources. If it is in fact based on referable sources, please do not reinstate this section until you have linked to the sources. Perhaps it would be more useful to get the article published in an appropriate trade journal? At any rate please do not use Wikipedia as a platform to air grievances, as this appears to me to be what is going on here.pomegranate (talk) 13:40, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
