Reverting edits[edit]

Reverted addition of wikilink to Ultra Sonic Edukators by user:Jared1426... I didn't originally link it because I didn't want to have 50 or so red links here.

Joel Hedgpeth[edit]

"Joel Hedgpeth" returns more results than "hedgpeth festival" on google. To follow Wikipedia guidelines, "Joel Hedgpeth" is what should be pulled up when Hedgpeth is searched.--FUNKAMATIC (talk) 16:35, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tag removal[edit]

The notability tag was removed -- despite the fact that the only ref is not the sort of ref that establishes notability. So I will restore it.

Also -- the speedy should not be removed just because there is a source, unless the source does more than establish that the festival existed. Which this one does not seem to.

I felt the notability tag needed to be re-assessed given the proliferation of notable bands listed (which the source supplied also listed). I tend to work on the basis that anything with one reliable source has the potential for others to exist, and gets you out of CSD territory. However, it doesn't get you out of AfD, and in fact you'd be well within your rights to send it there, if I'm honest. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:34, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ritchie. I could better understand that if the ref were one that received weight vis-a-vis notability. This ref doesn't. I mean, look at it! As to the speedy, I think its pretty well accepted that the existence of bands with wp articles by itself is not sufficient, see here. Epeefleche (talk) 01:02, 18 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
