World's THIRD Largest

What about [titan cement [1]]? They still have a billion turnover 8 Countries, less than 2000 employees — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.14.98.44 (talk) 22:48, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

I believe Heidelberg is now not only the worlds third largest ready mix producer (article says fourth), but also the worlds largest aggregate producer. Maybe someone can verify this? --67.185.216.23 09:46, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

They are currently (2007) the largest in aggregates (Hanson was already the leader so no change there), 4th largest cement producer (after Lafarge, Holcim and Cemex - no change again) and second largest ready-mix supplier (after Cemex whose acquisition of Rinker made them the largest). 64.46.1.14 (talk) 23:48, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Lehigh Cement redirect

There is a redirect from Leigh Cement to this article, which does not mention Lehigh Cement.--DThomsen8 (talk) 22:04, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

The reason for the redirect is that Heidelberg Cement owns the Cement Plant at Lehigh - so the link is at least founded in some sort of fact, although it is poor cross referencing. Also interesting if sad side note - the last fatal accident in the HC group was at the Lehigh plant - poor guy was run over by a semi... A real shame. ( sorry, no references, I know this because I am an employee...) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.180.140.217 (talk) 10:04, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Building vs Construction industry

Is there a difference or prefference? --Mollskman (talk) 02:05, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Building materials is the title of the relevant WP article, and is certainly the most common name in British English, so it is my clear preference. It is also the longstanding wording used in this article.Rangoon11 (talk) 22:21, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
