Rudolf Kehrer nor Victor Eresko have never been Neuhaus' pupils

[edit]

I deleted the two references because Kherer studied at the Tblisi Conservatory in 1938-1941 being the pupil of A.I. Tulashvili. He was then forced to stop his studies because of the beginning of WW II. He moved to central Asia, where in the small town Chimkent he was student in the mathematics and physics Faculty, then he became a Mathematics teacher. Only in 1954 he restarted his piano studies at the Taskent Conservatory with Z. Tamarkina. He became piano teacher at the same Conservatory in 1957, then in 1961 he won the first prize at the Pansovietic Competition in Moscow, as an outsider completely unknown before.

Eresko was first pupil during the sixties at the Moscow Conservatory of Yakov Flier and Lev Vlasenko. Then he graduated in 1965 with Lev Naumov. He then continued studying with Naumov until 1967.

Sorry for bad English. This contribution comes from the Neuhaus' Italian web site.
