Notability[edit]

Does not meet WP:SOLDIER & sig RS coverage not found link, just passing mentions and / or non RS militaria literature.

No de.wiki article exists. Did not hold a significant command and topped out as Oberleuntnant. Successful completion of missions (patrols accomplished, GRT of enemy shipping sunk, etc) is not part of SOLDIER. Please also see a note at MilHist Talk Archives for background behind the redirect. In summary, per the outcome of the discussion at Notability:People on notability of Knight's Cross recipients: permalink, certain recipients were deemed non notable and WP:SOLDIER has been modified accordingly: diff. The articles of these recipients are being redirected to alphabetical lists. K.e.coffman (talk) 00:45, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Significant post-war career as an artist. Restored. Meets notability as artist. auntieruth (talk) 13:24, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntieruth55: Do you happen to have sources that establish subject's notability as an artist? K.e.coffman (talk) 02:24, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Open Knowledge International[edit]

Is this RS?Slatersteven (talk) 14:33, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think the author, historian Hans H. Hanke (see http://www.kunstgeschichte.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/personen/hanke.html.de) is a subject matter expert. MisterBee1966 (talk) 15:51, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
