Blessed with a baby boy?

[edit]

Is this NPOV and encyclopedic? Are girls referred to in the same way? Quite religious language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.161.165.22 (talk) 13:03, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rediff article copies

[edit]

Various people were adding straight copyvios from the Rediff article cited in the references. I cut them out, as a start. If anyone wants to rewrite and rephrase, go ahead. But straight copying is out! Zora 13:04, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Helen's sister and family

[edit]

Anon, that info may be absolutely legit, but there has to be some way to confirm it. We can't just add unconfirmed info about living people. Zora 06:28, 14 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Burmese Christian?

[edit]

I'm not sure that "Christian" is relevant. We don't usually specify the religion of Bollywood actors/actresses. As for "Burmese" -- does that mean ethnic Burmese, or resident of Burma? I'm not sure what you mean, HS.

You restored a lot of your old phrasing. I didn't think it was an improvement in terms of style. Zora 16:31, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article Naming convention

[edit]

There are redirects from Helen (dancer), Helen (actress), and Helen Richardson Khan. I have seen references to her full name, so I believe it is fair to keep the content in this article Helen Richardson. If she is more commonly known as Helen Richardson Khan, I think that could be made the official article. I don't think it makes any sense for her to lay claim to Helen, thus Helen (dancer) and Helen (actress) are just weak substitutes. Clerks. (talk) 14:18, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recent move

[edit]

I cannot understand the recent move. The article was named "Helen (actress)" for years, and the last time it was moved, it was moved back by an administrator. Now it is moved back to Helen Jairag Richardson, a name this actress was never known by, and the reason cited is - there are many actresses named Helen. So, first, what about a proper discussion? And where are the other actresses known by one sole stage name "Helen"? Also, the redirect created as a result of this move was empty. What's the logic?

As for this actresses, she was never credited as Helen Jairag Richardson, just like Madonna is never credited for her full name. That's a stage name, and if a move is necessary, it should be done in a proper way with discussion and with a better idea than Helen Jairag Richardson.
