[edit]

This page needs a serious rewrite, possibkly to the point of blanking and starting again. Too much of the material looks like "random things off the top of my heade involving hell", and there isn;t really any kind of aditional context or organising structure.

As ever it would be good if we could get some sources on things. Artw 03:18, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd also suggest renaming to "Hell in popular culture", in common with other articles of this type. Artw 03:23, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Should the variously available quote 'that the man who published a book without an index ought to be damned ten miles beyond Hell, where the Devil could not get for stinging nettles.' ( Henry B Wheatley, What is an Index? A Few Notes on Indexes and Indexers (1879) be included here? Jackiespeel (talk) 15:11, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The sections "Art" and "Literature" includes examples of works that are not popular culture. Therefore, either they should be deleted, or the title of the article changed. And surely not all films are "popular"?Rwood128 (talk) 13:08, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
