Cancellation
[edit]Hellfest was cancelled in 2005 because of a dispute between organizers and the venue in which Hellfest was supposed to take place.
My Revision
[edit]That is my revision without actually knowing anything about Hellfest, somebody who knows more should finish it up.
European edition
[edit]Hello, there is an European festival named also hellfest. I propose to you to speak about it in this article. If you decide to do it, the url of the official web site is : http://www.hellfest.fr/us/index.html.
End of the festival
[edit]It is not good to refer to a external source as to why it was cancelled, it would be better to serve a summary of the events here on wikipedia
Moving the Hellfest article
[edit]I just moved the Hellfest article to Hellfest (punk festival), and created a disamb page. The reason was:
- Hellfest Summer Open Air is a big French extreme metal festival with the same name (more than 45000 tickets sold in 2008), which makes it more relevant to have a disamb page than just a redirect from the punk festival page,
- some links to Hellfest were in fact links that should have directed to Hellfest Summer Open Air, so people were mistaken thinking that Hellfest was the article for Hellfest Summer Open Air.
