Texan beaded lizardHeloderma texana – Move per WP:COMMONNAME. The only Google result for "Texan beaded lizard" is this Wikipedia article. The name that is "most commonly used" in any other source that mentions this animal is the scientific name, Heloderma texana. It is not Wikipedia's place to coin vernacular ("common") names for animals that have been extinct for millions of years before humans evolved. Plantdrew (talk) 02:24, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Peter coxhead (talk) 08:21, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done (clear case). Peter coxhead (talk) 08:25, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support move as there is no source for a vernacular name and the scientific name appears to be the name most in use (i.e. the name to use according to WP:COMMON). —  Jts1882 | talk  09:33, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
