14 October 2011 edit
[edit]Copyedited, and added historical text and inline cites for village, and for church and other listed buildings. De-overlinking common words, disambigging ‘Beck’, and added mileage conversion. Post town added to infobox.
Removed the Radio Lincs article that concerned a Wikipedia-non-notable resident, and said nothing of the village itself apart from private opinions, personal reflections and family background. Parish Council web site External link is 404 dead. Removed Coach and Horses External link to pub-explorer.com, a site where publicans themselves add in their own promotional information which is taken on good faith by the site - see bottom of page here. Removed embedded link to Coach and Horses own promotional web site here. Wikipedia is not a trade directory. Removed embedded link to ‘pub’ – pic is already embedded in page. De-linked blue link to 'coach' which didn’t add anything that isn’t covered under the ‘coaching inn’ blue link. Removed embedded link to parish church geograph.org – the same picture of the church is in the infobox. Converted BBC Radio Hemingby embedded link to an inline cite to new References section.
Citations are needed for unsupported claims if they are to remain – citations needed tags added.
This article is now more than a stub.
