A lot of this seems poor to me.

"three L Bentley" should either be "three litre Bentley" or "3L Bentley".

The supercharger specialist was Amherst Villiers, not Armherst Villiers

WO Bentley is continually referred to as "Bentley", which is indistinguishable from the marque. His contemporaries referred to him as "WO".

It seems unlikely that the "no substitute for cubic inches" quote is attributable to WO, as engine capacities have never been measured in cubic inches in the UK (hence 4.5 litre...)

OK, I changed some stuff.

Changed 3L to 3 litre and 4.5 L to 4½ litre (it actually is referred to as a four-and-a-half, not a four-point-5). Removed the comment about "no substitute for cubes" (can't imagine WO saying this). Changed some links to point at the W.O. Bentley article rather than the Bentley Cars article. Referred to W.O. Bentley as "W.O." to distinguish him from the company. "works" team

[edit]

Is it correct to describe the Bentley Boys as a "works team"? Even in these days, a real works team (e.g. Sunbeam/STD) employed its drivers. Although this group was a cohesive "team" and I guess Woolf Barnato would have to class as a "works" driver, I don't feel that "works team" is quite an appropriate phrase here. Article name

[edit]

I'm wondering whether this article should be renamed "Tim Birkin", per WP:COMMONNAME and following the examples of Tiff Needell, Duke Nalon, Johnny Cecotto, Possum Bourne, Salt Walther, Skip Barber, Smokey Yunick, Swede Savage, Tiny Lund, Tony Bettenhausen, etc. Thoughts?
