Visa problems

[edit]

"officially because of 'visa problems'". Why "officially"? Why scare quotes on "visa problems"? This should be explained - and sourced - or rewritten without such veiled commentary. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:04, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Two or one years?

[edit]

The article says He spent two years in the band, playing lead guitar on several singles, including "Hi, Hi, Hi", "Live and Let Die" and "My Love" as well as the album Red Rose Speedway.[7] Musical differences with McCartney, however, saw McCullough leave on the eve of the Band on the Run sessions.

Now the Band on the Run sessions began recording in Nigeria in Aug 1973

He quit the band before that

If he joined in 1972 that's not a two year sting

The Guardian [1] says he was recruited in 1971 - which does make a two year stint.
